Day 2 Hedley and Keremeos

So nice to wake up to the sight of the clear green river out the window.

Had a good nights sleep but a little chilly, heard it was -1 in Princeton last night and thats not far away.

After breakfast we drove to Hedley to look around, didn't take long, it's very small. We then went to Keremeos with all of it's fruit stands and bought a box of peaches. Karen brought her canning pot and we will can them in day or two.

Enjoyed the scenery, tall mountain faces and dry hillsides.

We returned to the RV park and enjoyed a lunch of fresh tomato sandwiches.
While we were eating we watched our camping neighbor flyfishing on the river.

He never caught anything but it looked like fun so when he came back I decided to give it a try[I didn't want any witnesses]. I never caught anything either but was lucky not to lose an eye or an earlobe. It's been 25 yrs since I last attempted flyfishing!

After a relaxing afternoon we had curried chicken for dinner.

Tomorrow we will drive to Penticton, we hope the weather is warmer, would like a swim in the lake.

The pictures are: Downtown Hedley, Keremeos Harvest ,Mickey overlooking the river, and championship flyfisher!
