Day 3 Hedley to Penticton

We hooked up the trailer after breakfast and headed up the road to Penticton.
We were sorry to leave, it's such a pretty place.

We stopped in Keremeos again and bought some produce then made the hop to our next destination, Wright's Beach Camp, in Penticton. It's a nice place, right on Skaha Lake. we are about 20 ft from the water.

After setting up we headed in for a quick tour of my old home town. Many changes in the 30 yrs since I was last here! More traffic and loads of stores, makes Nanaimo look good, and it's not even tourist season.

Checked out my Grannies old home site but the house is gone, replaced with apartments.

We returned to the trailer to enjoy the sun. Later made nice dinner of rack of lamb and toasted our 37th anniversary with a glass of Okanagan Valley wine.

Tomorrow we will drive to Naramata where my Mom grew up. She wrote a memoir of her childhood years and the lady that runs the museum and Historical Society was looking forward to seeing it.
